Main Attractions of the trek:

Pheasant, Red Panda, Asiatic Black Bear, Rhododendrons, dense temperature and conifer forest, grazing grounds, view of snow capped Kangto peak.

Travel gears to bring:

sleeping bag, warm clothes, trekking shoes, rucksack, water bottle, thermos, hot water bag, plate, cup, socks, sleeper, rain coat, small torch, spare batteries, toiletries, medicines, therm-a-rest compressible pillow, digital camera

Suggested Itinerary:

Day 01: Guwahati - Tezpur / Nameri / Bhalukpong   (4 & 1/2 hrs drive)

If time permits, visit - Kamakhya Temple, Madan Kamdev Temple.

En-route cross – mighty Brahmaputra river.

Visit - Mahabhairab Temple, Agnigarh.

Overnight: Stay in hotel.

Day 02: Tezpur / Nameri / Bhalukpong - Thembang   (6 & 1/2 hrs drive)

En-route visit – Bhalukpong, Naag Temple, Bomdila Craft Center

Overnight: Stay in homestay.

Day 03: Trek to Semnak   ( hrs trekking)

En-route stop - Gonthung, Pangma

Overnight: Stay in campsite.

Day 04: Enjoy trekking to Lagam   ( hrs trekking)

Overnight: Stay in campsite.

Day 05: Trek to Chhandar   ( hrs trekking)

Overnight: Stay in campsite.

Day 06: Trek further to Namshu   ( hrs trekking)

Overnight: Stay in campsite.

Day 07: Trek to Sangti, drive to Dirang   (25 mins drive)

Visit - Sangti Valley, Kiwi and apple orchard at Sangti Valley

Overnight: Stay in hotel.

Day 08: Dirang - Tawang   (6 hrs drive)

En-route visit – Kalachakra Monastery, Himalayan Culture & Tradition Preservation Society, Hot Water Spring, Jaswant Garh, Sela Pass, Nuranang Waterfall

Overnight: Stay in hotel.

Day 09: Tawang

Visit – Tawang Monastery, Urgelling Monastery, Tawang War Memorial, Anis Gompa (The Nunneries), Giant Buddha Statue, Craft Centre, Local market

Overnight: Stay in hotel.

Day 10: Tawang - Zemithang - Tawang   (3 hrs drive one way)

Visit – Statue of Tara Devi, Gorsam Chorten (located on the banks of the Nyamjangchu river), Manjushree Vidyapeeth - an orphanage run by Padmashree Lama Thupten Phuntsok.

Activities - village walks, bird watching, experiencing Monpa tribal culture

Overnight: Stay in hotel.

Day 11: Tawang - Bomdila   (7 hrs drive)

En-route visit – Lhou Village, Rock Paintings, Dirang Dzong, Dirang Village (Basti),

Overnight: Stay in hotel.

Day 12: Bomdila - Tezpur   (5 & 1/2 hrs drive)

Visit – Bomdila Monastery, Lower Gompa, Bomdila View Point, Tipi Orchid Centre

Overnight: Stay in hotel.

Day 13: Tezpur - Guwahati departure   (4 hrs drive)

Drive to Guwahati airport and get dropped to catch flight / train for your onward destination.
